SARA SPONSORSHIP

A local brewery today announced that it was sponsoring the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA).

The Severn Vale Brewing Company's owner Steve McDonald said that he would donate five pence for every pint of the brewery's Severn Bells beer between now and September.  A similar scheme last year raised funds for St. James' church in Dursley.

SIBA SUPREME CHAMPION BREWER 2008!

A beer brewed in a disused milking parlour has won the supreme championship in SIBA's 2008 National Beer Competition.

Severn Sins, a dark stout from Severn Vale Brewing Company, which is based on a farm in the Cotswold village of Cam, beat 342 other draught ales, ranging from milds to specialty beers, on its way to being voted national champion.

DRINKING SESSION AT THE OLD SPOT

The Dursley sub-branch of CAMRA in association with the Severn Vale Brewing Company and the Old Spot organised an event to treat OAPs to free beer and food, with the launch of the new Severn Vale brew commissioned by the Old Spot, to encourage sensible drinking with pleasure.
